Argh This is difficult to rate because while I love the art-style, it's an art-style deserving of so much more than a simple helicopter game. It has the perfect combination of vibrance and darkness, and I would play the vectors out of a platforming/RPG or something similar if it had a writing style to match.
Please, you must flesh out these characters and tell Floranaut's story proper!

when making a game like this... MAKE SURE YOUR ARROWS ARE STRAIGHT.
Seriously, those cartoon arrows that are maligned AIN'T CUTTING IT and make the game a matter of guessing just how out of calibration they are. Get rid of them and get arrow that are true, otherwise expect to get poor scores from me and everybody else that doesn't appreciate hunting and pecking with bum directions.

Yeah, it looks like Totem Destroyer, BUT IT'S NOT FUCKING TOTEM DESTROYER! Take all of the block-based physics games and put them side-by-side. THEY ALL LOOK LIKE FUCKING TOTEM DESTROYER.
Anyway, comparisons aside, it's a great game with alot of strategy behind it; careful destruction and quick reflexes when the structure is crumbling. 'Tis a fine game, dammit!

Somehow while playing this game I got an overwhelming sense of dispair.
Best way I could summarize it is if somebody made a snowboarding game while listening to a bunch of Radiohead. It's a valient effort, but it's REALLY FUCKING DEPRESSING. I had no desire to obtain the powers, land tricks or even try to complete the level.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to curl-up into a ball and drink myself asleep.
BEST BOSS BATTLE EVER!
Wow, I enjoyed the incredible action-RPG elements and that section where you man the turrets was some of the best shooting in a Flash game EVER.
The real kicker had to be the fantastic boss battles. They harkened to the multi-screen bosses of Castlevania in it's day. Mephistophiles was a bitch though, I didn't figure out the trick until I had used up most of my healing items. That last boss was epic though, especially in his final form. The story leaves on a bit of a cliff-hanger and I can't wait for the sequel.

Excellent work. Struck the perfect balance between challenge and intuition. Definitely had to think out side the box to get crushed by... well, boxes. The difficulty curve was perfect.
The twists near the end added a nice variety and were definitely surprising and unique. I won't spoil anything, but I like mouse as well.
